Conditions

Helping Brampton relieve pain

Select a condition to learn how our physiotherapists, chiropractors and massage therapists can help you get back to living pain-free.

Headaches, neck stiffness, jaw pain and dizziness often share a root cause in the neck and upper back.

Rotator cuff strain, frozen shoulder and impingement respond well to a graded strengthening plan.

Tennis elbow, carpal tunnel and repetitive-strain injuries from work or sport.

Low back pain, disc irritation and sciatica are among the most common problems we treat.

Hip impingement, bursitis, arthritis and post-replacement rehabilitation.

Knee pain, arthritis, unsteadiness and gait problems that affect your confidence on your feet.

Plantar fasciitis, ankle sprains and foot mechanics that create pain further up the chain.

How we treat these conditions

Every condition on this page is assessed before it is treated. That means finding out which structure is producing the symptom, what loaded or irritated it in the first place, and which movements or habits keep it going — because the painful area is often not the origin of the problem. A stiff mid-back drives shoulder pain; weak hips drive knee pain; a jaw problem can present as headache.

A typical plan

Treatment usually combines hands-on manual therapy to restore movement, a graded exercise programme to rebuild strength and tolerance, and education about load and pacing so the problem does not return. Depending on the diagnosis we may add dry needling, cupping, IASTM, kinesiology taping, custom orthotics, vestibular retraining or the GLA:D programme for hip and knee osteoarthritis.

When to seek care

Book an assessment if pain has lasted more than two weeks, wakes you at night, follows an accident or surgery, limits work or sport, or comes with numbness, weakness, dizziness or giving way. Early treatment of a straightforward strain often takes three to six visits; the same problem left for six months usually takes considerably longer.
