How Should I Prepare For My First Appointment?
Please have your prescription (if applicable) and insurance card handy when you call to book your first appointment. This will enable us to confirm your insurance benefits and provide you with an estimate of coverage.
To bring/keep in mind on your first visit:
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete any remaining paperwork, so you can maximize your time in your evaluation.
- Please wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your problem areas.
- Bring any case manager or insurance adjuster contact names, phone numbers, and claim numbers in the event of an automobile accident or worker’s compensation claim.
- A prescription (if needed) for physiotherapy from your referring physician.
- Insurance information (we will make a copy of your card).
- Fill out the patient forms online. If you are unable to do this, please allow for extra time to fill these out upon your arrival.

What an assessment involves
A first appointment takes about 45 minutes: your history, movement and strength testing, hands-on examination, a clear explanation of what we found, and a written plan with a realistic timeline. Most people also receive treatment and home exercises the same visit. No physician referral is required in Ontario, and we direct bill to most extended health plans.
Clinic hours and location
InSync Wellness is at 20 Rivermont Rd B3, Brampton, Ontario L6Y 6G7, minutes from Mississauga Road and Steeles Avenue with free on-site parking and ground-floor, barrier-free access. We are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and closed Sunday. Call 905-455-2222 and a member of our front desk team will find you a time, usually within a day or two of your call.
